Confess your unpopular opinion time: I don't care about the child detention immigration scandal. Nor do I care if, upon reading that statement, you call me a heartless pig. Just note I'm uncaring about the scandal of it. The debacle it's become. But sorry, the American government shouldn't be put in a position to babysit minors at the border. Especially those trying to get in illegally. With their parents, without their parents. With human traffickers, or with an older "brother." If ever there was a case for building the wall, it's this one. Yes, human trafficking is awful. We should prevent it from coming into our country. The wall. Build it.

All week -- all flipping week -- the media and Democrats have flapped about, screeching for THE CHILDREN! And how TERRIBLE it is these babies are without their mothers and fathers.

Side note: How nice to know the Democrats think children should have mothers and fathers.

Separated by the cruel, demonic United States. The same country these poor people were trying to enter illegally. The same terrible nation which, rather than turning them away, forcing them to go back to the sh!thole nation from whence they came, were "cruelly" detained. In America.

Except the Democrats don't care about these children. If they cared about these children in detention centers, they would've cared when Obama's administration put them in the detention centers. And Bush before him. If they cared about these children, they would've lavished all the praise on President Trump when he signed an order calling for the cessation of child separation of illegal border invaders (my name). But they didn't.

Second sidenote: I'm not commenting on how Trump handled this one. We can argue about that another time. 

The Democrats just know you care about children. The best way to twist you is to manipulate your feelings for children. To get what the Democrats want.

This entire spectacle has been nothing but a political football. As Marco Rubio pointed out, this fiasco wasn't about reuniting children with parents. It's about open borders. As DHS pointed out to the virtue signaling airlines, this child separation issue isn't about ripping apart families. It's about protecting children from human traffickers, and actually reuniting children with their parents. Back in their home countries.

So if Democrats and their leftist cohorts cared about children, they wouldn't act as they are: petulant bitch babies who are "suddenly" outraged by a policy which has been going on for years, and not for cruel reasons as the left has pretended.

Sure, pictures look bad. The optics of children behind chainlink isn't hitting the #Blessed on Instagram feeds. But nor do photos of little girls dressed up as women as they're being sold to perverts. Where are those pictures? Oh right, those wouldn't look right for the narrative we're going for. My mistake.

No, I don't think it was right for Laura Ingraham to describe these detention centers as "summer camps." Public school is more accurate.

Democrats, heck, politicians as a whole, do not care about anyone but themselves and what advances their agenda. Democrats want as many people immigrating here illegally as possible, to bring in massive hordes of perpetual victims who'll keep voting for the party offering them free stuff. The end.

We need to remember that whenever there's a new "scandal" which the media pushes, hard, basing the coverage on emotional appeal. Abandoning all historical reference, background, and reason, when all three just take a simple Google search.

Further, those of us on the right need to stop competing with the Democrats and media for virtue signaling care points. No more rushing, slavishly, to out-care the non-caring Democrats in an effort to see who cares the most about the children, when really the whole ordeal is about advancing an agenda.

Becuase it's not about children. It was never about children. With the Democrats, with leftists, nothing is about the welfare of children. Democrats care about remaining in power. Having control of the money. Pushing their agenda to remain in power and control the money.

Remember that next time another "scandal" comes up and there's a ridiculous blitz over "children."
