Joe Rogan gets The Rock to admit he doesn't have any friends who like Joe Biden: "Thank you, that's a good check"
Finally, The Rock, HAS COME BACK (for the first time) to the Joe Rogan Experience. The jabroni beating, pie eating, trail blazing, eyebrow raising, not trying to cause no fuss, even though he once through Joe Rogan under the bus, people's champion, sat down with Rogan for a kibitz.
The Internet's two most favorite baldies opined on these partisan times we're living in and how people don't get along based on politics. To be clear, it goes in one direction. Republicans can be friends with Democrats. Democrats are the ones raised to believe the only reason Republicans hold any opposing viewpoints is because of racist, sexist, trans/islamo/homophobia. It's been that way since the 2000s when there was literally no conversation a liberal couldn't turn into how much they hated George W. Bush.
Republicans are NOT the ones who send people home with talking points, so your blue-haired, gender studies major cousin no one wants to be around could start fights at Thanksgiving.
The Rock tried to say he had friends who like Trump AND friends who like Biden. Rogan called him out.
Rogan: “Do you really have friends who support Biden?”
Rock: “No, no, no, no, no… Thank you. That's a good check because that's important. This is important context. They support the Democratic Party.”
It's nice to see the two sit down together because they had hit a rough patch last year. The Rock had spoken out in Joe Rogan's defense when the Left was attempting to cancel him for going against the pandemic narrative.
When bitterly partisan, Left-wing SuperPAC put together an out-of-context video of Joe Rogan dropping an n-bomb, The Rock was quick to throw him under the bus based on randos on Twitter asking him to. Dave Portnoy was able to see through the bullsh*t. The Rock was not.
2022 ended with Rogan saying The Rock should come clean about steroid use after the Live King admitted he wasn't all-natty.
Maybe they talked through all the past issues over the course of the two-hour podcast. We have a joint livestream with Bongino today, and I only have the bandwidth for this forty-four-second video.
