The View Tries To Slam Ben Carson over Islam Comments. Missing HUGE Irony...
Having a basic understanding of life, law and the Constitution is not a requirement to have an opinion and be on camera. If it were, we wouldn't have the charming women of The View, who, like the rest of the media, are flipping out over Ben Carson's true comments about Sharia law's complete incompatibility with the US Constitution. Watch, and try not to get distracted by Raven Simone's purple lipstick.
Yes, the lipstick is purple. Bright purple. No, I don't know why she chose it, but she must have had a good reason. Don't be a sexist about this.
Here's the tragic irony the women of The View are missing about Ben Carson's comments:
Sharia law wouldn't allow these women to be on TV discussing their opinions of any kind.
In America, you can be as dumb as a bag of hammers, but you still have every right to utter every inane cackling idea your pea-brain has thunk up. It's called freedom of speech, and it's protected under the First Amendment of our Constitution, the same document the modern third-wave SJW feminists want to shred and use as tampons when they're not free-bleeding. Sorry, had to go there.
Freedom of speech does not exist under Sharia law.
Secondly, religious beliefs are not the same as being black, Whoopi. What someone believes religiously or as a political world view (Sharia checks both those boxes) is a relevant discussion to have when running for the highest office in the world. Particularly because Islam is not only a religion, but a political system with very specific prescriptions created as to outline an Islamic society.
If a Muslim candidate thinks it's totes okay to beat an insubordinate wife, or hang a gay man for being gay...that's kind of important to know, don't you think? Incidentally, in Muslim countries which practice Sharia law, women are routinely abused, raped, and aren't even second class citizens. And gays are murdered all the time. For being gay. And we're not talking single digit numbers here. We're talking thousands of gay people have been killed in Islamic countries to the approval of hundreds of millions of Muslims across the world. That's kind of a big deal. When was the last time you heard of a Jew or a Christian calling for women to be beaten and for gays to be executed?
That's kind of pivotal seeing as Raven Simone (the purple-lipstick one) said that she wants a
"a president who is "Tolerant of diversity within it's borders."
Raven, Raven, Raven. So does Dr. Ben Carson. That's why he's been open in his problems with Islamic law. Sharia Law would have you executed. At dawn. Before breakfast. You wouldn't even get a running start.
And can we just go back a few years to 2012 and Mitt Romney? Wasn't he questioned as a candidate for HIS religious views, being a Mormon? Also, prior to JFK, the only Catholic president, hasn't there always been a nagging paranoia a Catholic in the White House would bow to the Vatican? Calling to question someone's belief system isn't anything new, people. The main difference is that with Islam, it's of the utmost importance.
Which is also why it's relevant to ask what Ben Carson believes. It shocked Joy Behar that Carson, a doctor, hasn't fallen in knuckle-dragging lockstep behind "evolution," which is a broadly used term, by the way. Going to assume that what Behar meant by "evolution" was humans evolving from apes. So the women of The View criticized Ben Carson for believing in creationism, after criticizing Ben Carson for saying the belief system of Sharia law isn't compatible with the Constitution. Bag of hammers.
But hey, at least there was purple lipstick.
