It's sad to see Whoopi Goldberg attacking a comedian over jokes. Ever since Meghan McCain was mean-girled out of the show, it has become a siren song for low-information progressive talking points. Whoopi has taken it upon herself to attack anyone not sufficiently living in panic as outlined by the CDC, facts be damned. And on Monday, the fangs came out for Bill Maher in a two-minute clip that makes Maher's point for him.

It's important to watch Bill Maher's full bit and not just the clip Whoopi chose. Also, whoever wrote this tweet had the funniest joke.

After Whoopi's rant and Joy Behar's shrill blabbering, whatever a Sara Haines is chimed in calling masks the new normal, and that she may never feel comfortable not wearing a mask in public again. These are all people who think YOU'RE the crazy one.

Here's the thing. Bill Maher didn't just do a joke about pro-mask lunatics being lunatics. He did an entire segment about how the left--aka the harpies on "The View"--who claim to be "pro-science," are anti-science, anti-data, anti-reality when it comes to COVID. Democrats are the LEAST informed. Maher singled out Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor, who proved to be ignorant when it came to basic facts. This same ignorance was celebrated by "The View," because Sotomayor was at least right people were in the hospital. So we shouldn't focus on the numbers, data, or statistics they got wrong. This was before "The View" declared they don't trust the CDC anymore.

On display is two schools of thought. One side opposes living in fear and feels that if you disagree, that's fine, and you should make whatever personal decisions you deem fit. The other side is addicted to living in fear and feels that if you disagree, fuck you. You should be the one who stays home. They demand you make decisions for their personal benefit, and if not, you should have your decisions taken away from you.
