Academics aren't what they used to be, a point made clear when you see what passes for academic studies (see STUDY: Your Fitbit Reinforces “Weight Stigma, Fatphobia, and Bullying” and ‘Scientific’ Study Claims EVERYBODY is Secretly Gay. Yes, Really…). Better to just burp the alphabet in Latin. Uninspired by the recent "academic" streak which is more like an underwear skidmark, a group of actual academics set out to expose corruption in the humanities. To get the process started, they submitted fake essays and journals that struck all the right social justice chords.

Rush Limbaugh has an expression for this: illustrating absurdity by being absurd. What better way to poke fun at the ever-silly feminist theorists than by saying dog humping is rape culture? Which they bought, hook, line and sinking intellect.

These academics are concerned with how their fields are quickly devolving into nothing but bitchfests in writing. People complaining about their first world problems which are actually more delusions than real-life issues. We're going need much more of these hijinks, and their results, to make any kind of change.
