Tim Allen, one of the few vocal Hollywood Republicans, has been quiet lately. Even Last Man Standing (see ‘Last Man Standing’ Digs In With Latest, Thorough Slam on Leftists and Last Man Standing’s Hilarious Take on ‘Nanny State’ vs Christmas) has been decidedly less political this season. I guess Allen was just waiting for the invite from Megyn Kelly, because he's back. And the recent hypocrisy coming out of Hollywood? No bueno...

What I find odd in Hollywood is that they didn’t like Trump because he was a bully,” Allen told Fox News’ Megyn Kelly. “But if you had any kind of inkling that you were for Trump, you got bullied for doing that. And … it gets a little bit hypocritical to me.

Allen wasn't going to defend every dumb thing Trump has said. The comedian made it a point to say he wasn't going to follow that rabbit down the outhouse hole. But the hypocrisy coming out of allegedly tolerant leftists, where simply refusing to voice a Trump hatred is enough to land you at the kiddie table, is a bit much.

Americans are tired of "Rules for thee, not for me," these days. We're done with the double-standards, the media maligning normal Americans as racists, sexists, bigots and homophobes. The more the media echoes its leftist sentiments into the airways, the more resistance will build against it. The resistance will likely take the form of sweeping Republican victories.

So keep on keeping on, I say. Let the left double down all they'd like.
