Janet Yellen Attempts to 'Whitesplain' Importance of Black Abortions to Sen. Tim Scott, and He's Not Amused
For Democrats, the race card is the "Uno Draw Four" card in their deck. They love it because it's their get out of rational thought free card. Sometimes, they overplay it. Like when it comes to Roe v. Wade. Last week, banger of Chinese spies (and pasty white) Eric Swalwell argued with a black conservative about interracial marriage. At a Senate hearing today, Joe Biden's treasury secretary Janet Yellen argued we need to keep abortion so that *checks notes* black women can abort black babies. Sen. Tim Scott, whose mother is a black woman, was not amused.
Sen. Scott was first shocked to hear Yellen say we need abortions to protect the labor force participation rate. That's the other thing. Since the economy is the one issue voters care about, liberals desperate to protect the unholy sacrament of abortion need you to think it's to help the economy.
CHILLS. @SenatorTimScott delivers a stunning rebuke to Janet Yellen claiming black women need abortions to succeed: “I’ll just simply say that as a guy raised by a black woman in abject poverty, I am thankful to be here as a United States senator.”

"In many cases, abortions are of teenage women, particularly low income, and often black, who aren’t in a position to be able to care for children..."
Yellen wasn't rude about it. She wasn't mayonnaise-looking Joy Behar calling the senator a bad black guy who doesn't understand racism. Yellen was matter of fact about it, so devoted to the talking point, it didn't cross her mind that anyone could disagree with the Democratic Party's stance on aborting black babies. Sen. Tim Scott, who once was one, disagreed.
"I think to myself had it not been for her sacrifice, her perseverance, her resilience, I would not be where I am today."
As we saw this week at a protest, it's amazing how quiet leftists get when you challenge them on that. When encouraging black abortions is a top priority for your side, you might be the bad guys.

All signs from the White House are that their arguments to protect abortion without limits are going to grow more and more dishonest, more sickening, too.
