Tim Tebow Has a Message for American Christians...
Tim Tebow appeared at an event with Dinesh D'Souza in Tennessee earlier this week. Sadly, since I live on the other side of the country, I could not be there. Because yes, Tim is still single, I am still single, and these 7 reasons Tim Tebow should marry me are completely relevant.
I'm guessing you probably weren't there, either. But if you're reading this, you're probably a Tim Tebow fan, and you're going to love his most recent message for America.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback addressed more than 2,000 Christians Saturday at God's Purpose for America, an event to encourage individuals to stand up for Judeo-Christian values. Tebow spoke about his upbringing, experiences as a college and professional quarterback, and current ministry:
“What’s amazing when you get up and do something is what God does in your life. We just have to get up and do something. When your identity is found in Christ, your identity never changes. You are always a child of God. That’s why I always say I don’t have to live the roller coaster that the rest of the world lives …”
Get up and do something. Whether it be in the realms of politics, your community, your local church... just do something!
It's not enough for us to sit on the sidelines and point fingers. It's not enough for us to tell everyone else what's wrong with the rest of the world. What we say doesn't matter. It's what we do. So get up, get out there, and do something!
