You hear a lot about how 'intolerant' Trump supporters are, yet never about how intolerant Hillary supporters are (see Tolerance Overload: Trump Supporter Bullied Out of Central Park by #BlackLivesMatter and Tolerance? Black Man Gets Shot… for Supporting Trump?!). Staten Island native Sam Pirozzolo knows first hand. He wanted to give Trump supporters a 'safe space' on his property to meet.

Hillary Clinton supporters responded by setting it on fire.

The 52-year-old optician from Staten Island was dismayed by news reports of the Republican nominee’s backers being attacked at rallies, ostensibly for little more than wearing pro-Trump garb.

Pirozzolo, an avid Trump supporter, responded by commissioning an art installation — a 12-f00t tall uppercase “T” with an American flag superimposed on it. The sculpture, built out of foam insulation and latex paint by a local artist, went up in Pirozzolo’s lawn at the end of May, facing a busy intersection in Staten Island’s Castleton Corners neighborhood.

There it stood undisturbed in Priozzolo’s yard for most of the summer. But in the early hours of Sunday morning, Pirozzolo woke up to find the sculpture in flames. Someone had torched the giant “T.”

Now, Pirozzolo is calling for the New York Police Department to investigate the incident as a hate crime.

“How is it that someone can come and set fire to your property and make it look like a burning Ku Klux Klan cross but that’s not a hate crime,” Pirozzolo told The Post. “Had it been for religious reasons or sexual preference, that would be the case.”

To his credit, Donald Trump called Pirozzolo to thank him for his support. No word on if Trump has plans to make Pirozzolo's lawn great again. Or whether he'll build a wall and make the Hillary supporters pay for it. One can only hope.

As for the hate crime? This is New York City. It's only a hate crime if leftists can push their agenda over it. Try to keep up.

So here we have yet another example of all the love and tolerance the left claims to have monopolized. This time they expressed said love with flame. Other times these ooey-gooey leftists express their ever-beating bleeding hearts with fisticuffs (watch Pepper-Sprayed Trump Protester... First There a Major Sucker Punch?). At least their alleged open-minds extend to methods of violence, because they don't use their "open minds" when listening to others. Or when driving passed someone else who might have a different opinion than their own.

Here's what I want to know, did the loving individual who set the giant T aflame consider anything other than setting the giant T aflame? Do you think he used his bleeding heart to consider the lives of the people on the property, and what would happen to said lives if the flames jumped? Or no?

Methinks no. Because leftists don't have a monopoly on caring. They have a monopoly on actual hatred for people who do not conform to their own views. They're the definition of real intolerance. Of course you can't tell them that, because...

"Open-minded" as interpreted by a leftist.

Let's also bear in mind that the people who hate Trump often sing the praises of Secretary Devil Wear's Pantsuits. They've conveniently ignored these top five reasons she's a worse candidate than the dog poo you stepped in.
