Joe Biden Steals from 'Simpsons,' Borrows Tom Hanks' 'Credibility' to Convince America Biden's Not Terrible
Joe Biden is coming off an absolute debacle of a press conference. It was meant to mark the end of the first year of his failed presidency and reboot Biden 2.0. Instead, it reminded America why the people who control Joe Biden don't let him talk much. Unfortunately, his Inauguration Committee already spent money on a video "celebrating" his "accomplishments" that's narrated by ... Tom Hanks.
That's right, Gen-Xers and elder millennials. Joe Biden has lost his credibility, so he's borrowing some of Tom Hanks'. This White House can't even use celebrities to pander properly. If they could, they would know The Simpsons already did this in 2007.

You see, in 2007, President Schwarzenegger had a problem on his hands, so he used Tom Hanks to distract Americans before he nuked the city of Springfield. Joe Biden, in 2021, has a problem on his hands. So he's using Tom Hanks to distract Americans from realizing how much Biden--to steal another The Simpsons reference--su-diddly-ucks.
According to Axios, Biden's Inauguration Committee is going to blanket the airwaves with this video. Tom Hanks narrates a carefully selected cast of "everyday Americans" who don't hate Joe.

Axios doesn't say how much money was spent or how much has been put behind TV time. The feeling is because COVID has prevented the president from connecting with Americans one-on-one -- "COVID" did that and not a team of advisors who knows better -- a two-minute political ad would make up for it. The plan is as follows.
