Top Ten WORST Reactions to the Covington Catholic Teen March for Life Video
Wait for the facts, lest you cleanse your facial pores with fresh egg. Because the narrative the media ran with, that some teens from Catholic Covington harassed, bullied, tormented some poor, frail Native American elder, was devilishly false. I say "devilishly" because the reverse seems to be true: the Native American elder was the one taunting the boys. Which means the following asshats, who maligned Nick Sandmann (the boy who smirked) are not only wrong, they're guilty of spreading a false narrative. Since they saw fit to trash an innocent teenager, I see no problem dishing out a little exposure of my own.
One: BuzzFeed Writer Cements BuzzFeed's Fake News Status
One theme of the conversations over the past 24 hours = how deeply familiar this look is. It's the look of white pa… https://t.co/uIWYAItAVE— Anne Helen Petersen (@Anne Helen Petersen) 1548029547.0
Kudos for combining two fake news stories into one trend and one faux issue: white patriarchy. One problem: none of it is true. Bonus problem: you're a galactic moron.
Two: Documentary Filmmaker Researches Student, School, and Wants to "Talk"
Hey Twitter, we need to have a talk. Last night I learned & confirmed the name of the "main student" from the… https://t.co/1R5C1UnTy8— Arlen Parsa (@Arlen Parsa) 1547992419.0
Hop on the thread at your own risk, it's filled with stupid people. Reminder, we're talking about a teenage boy who did nothing wrong. Nothing. So Arlen Parsa here sought fit to hunt this kid down, and even doxxed the kid's parents. Over a false narrative. The hate is real.
Three: Reporter Refuses to Report
I refuse to read it, but from what I have read, Reason has found in a MAGA teen video their own Zapruder film but f… https://t.co/LYtlQ0AzzJ— Melissa Gira Grant (@Melissa Gira Grant) 1548044342.0
Melissa, a reporter for The Appeal refuses to examine evidence which refutes her idea that the MAGA teen is a white supremacist. Let that sink in. Her reason? She says it's because she doesn't read "Reason." Good times.
Four: Wearing a Hat is Racism
We're talking about a hat which reads "Make America Great Again," which the left has taken to mean "make it white." Who're the racists?
Five: Anna Navarro's Deleted Shame
Hey Anna, what about condemning journalists who fail to journalism? What about condemning reporters who, rather than report, jump on a social media outrage trend to virtue signal how much they care? How about that?
Six: Patton Oswalt's Deleted Shame
Patton Oswalt retweets the documentarian's shameful doxxing. If only Patton, like everyone else in this post, waited for the facts.
Seven: Vulture Writer Wants the MAGA Teens to "Fucking die."
I know what to say about you, Erik. You're a dangerously overly emotional shit, who jumped on the mob outrage to make yourself feel better. Likely because being an overly emotional shit probably doesn't feel good. Advice: seek emotional help.
Eight: Political Columnist for WAPO Mourns Irony While Keeping it Alive
Death of irony: MAGA supporters surround a Native-American man and chant “Build that wall.” https://t.co/s5gSmHQZiI— Karen Tumulty (@Karen Tumulty) 1547934528.0
No one chanted "build the wall." Maybe it's time to make journalism great again. By simply practicing it.
Nine: Activist and Feminist is Confused by What Never Happened
No one chanted "build the wall" dummy. Video of this confrontation exists. Perhaps that's why Amy here deleted actual evidence of her statement opining on the lack of evidence, as if there was evidence, supporting her. Sorry if that's confusing, but Amy is already confused.
Ten: Kathy Griffin Wants to Shame Teens for Fake Narratives
Ps. The reply from the school was pathetic and impotent. Name these kids. I want NAMES. Shame them. If you think th… https://t.co/VSSMEKfQk4— Kathy Griffin (@Kathy Griffin) 1547978747.0
They're teens. They did nothing wrong. You owe them so much more than an apology, you haggard, toxic, insufferable bitch.
