Queer publication makes the case for "Tranimals," aka trans animals, and their reasoning is even worse than you think

Gender ideology is the foolish belief that someone can somehow be born in the wrong body. There is no objective or scientific way to determine whether or not someone's sex is wrong. It is all based on “affirming” one's feelings. That is the best these people can do to back up their mumbo-jumbo.
The ideology is becoming increasingly deranged by the day and has reached levels of contradiction people did not even know was possible. The biggest contradiction is that these people claim that sex does not matter, but in the very same breath, it matters to them so much that they base their entire reality on “transitioning” to the other sex.
But if sex and gender were two different things, there would be no need to transition medically.
The Gay Times attempted to back up this asinine ideology by pathetically claiming that at least 18 animals are trans, or “tranimals”, if you will. But the only problem with their take is that they ended up enforcing the gender binary with their failed attempt.
Transphobes love to cite “biology” in their exclusionary views. Lesbian separatists, right wing lobbyists, the Pope, She Who Must Not Be Named — this shrinking class of gender imperialists use “biological sex” as a pseudo-intellectual trump card to suggest that the gender binary is inalienable due to this perceived fact.
I must intercept due to how insane this article already is. First of all, it’s rather rude that the writer has called certain lesbians he does not agree with as “separatists.” I don’t really understand what that means but I assume it refers to lesbians who don’t feel beholden to the rainbow mafia. The cult mentality is real with that one and we have not even made it past several sentences.
Secondly, it is quite a take to try and refer to those who know that biological reality is real as “gender imperialist.” Because if anyone is some sort of cultural imperialist, it is these people. They are the ones who woke up one day and demanded we all acquiesce to their deranged ideology.
Thirdly, he really called it “pseudo-intellectual” to claim there is a sex binary. That is so absurd it speaks for itself.
Do you see how many contradictions have been made in just two sentences? That is unfathomable.
Anyway, the writer made some more baffling claims but if I were to dissect them we would be here all day. Let’s just take a look at some of the animals he subjected his nonsense to.
The only mammal on the list is the spotted hyena.
Fpotted [sic] hyenas are the only known female mammal to “copulate, urinate, and give birth through a penile-like canal. It’s even possible for females to achieve erections.” With a large, retractable clitoris and teste-like labia, these female appendages are actually bigger than the males — and I exercised a lot of restraint redacting a joke about that.
FYI, I did not make a typo. He did spell “spotted” wrong.
Question: Are female “fpotted” hyenas the only ones to give birth? If so, why? Is it because sex is binary? Hmmmmmmm. The biology is extremely strong with this one, as these animals are either male or female. I would say nice try, but that was truly pathetic.
The rest of the list includes a couple of birds, several reptiles, a few insects, and things like oysters, which are basically retarded slugs. And the funny thing is, he did try and use a banana slug as more proof. But if you are going to use a mindless species to prove your lack of a point, at least use one with a backbone.
We will close with his strongest piece of evidence: The clownfish. These fish do change genders and experience sequential hermaphroditism. This means that they produce “eggs and sperm at different stages in life.” But I am not sure if the writer is aware, but humans are not hermaphrodites. While clownfish naturally can change genders, humans cannot. And if your entire argument is based on the biological characteristics of a clownfish, there is no argument.
No human can produce eggs and sperm. No human is a hermaphrodite.
The writer should not compare two different species to prove a lack of a point. The closest animal to a human he used was a hyena, which is basically a dog. And in case it was not clear, humans are not dogs.
Anyway, you get the point. I can’t get into the rest of the list because there are more contradictions than words and nothing makes sense and now my head hurts.
That said, in the writer's pathetic attempt to prove that “biological sex” is a "pseudo-intellectual trump card" he ended up proving the opposite. Unclear if that was his point all along.
