Can anyone think of someone who said caving to the transgender lobby would result in terrible consequences? Oh, wait, we at Louder with Crowder have been saying that forever! So, after a "transgender" inmate in New Jersey knocked up two female inmates, I'm going to be gracious and not start yelling, "I told you so!" I will, however, type it out. I told you so.

The New York Post reports that Demi Minor, a 27-year-old "transwoman" who is serving 30 years for manslaughter has been moved from the Edna Mahan Correctional Facility for Women to the Garden State Youth Correctional Facility. Now, he's housed with a bunch of males, but I don't quite understand why he's in a youth prison... Does he identify as being 14 now? No, that's not it. The NJ Department of Corrections just sees this as a weird compromise. And it's one Minor doesn't much appreciate.

In a blog post on July 15, Minor wrote, "[NJDOC] have violated my right to be safe and free from sexual harassment, by putting me in one of the most violent youth Correctional facilities. While living here at GYSC, I have found my self (sic) under attack by young inmates who are immature and just plain ignorant towards a person like me."

First, a question: How does this felon have access to write a blog in prison? Can someone explain this?

Second, I'm tired of people throwing around the word "right(s)." A right to be safe in prison? I'm pretty sure that's not something anyone can necessarily guarantee, and perhaps you should have thought about that being killing someone.

And third, he's "under attack by young inmates who are immature and just plain ignorant"? Or maybe they're just teenage boys who think a dude thinking he's a woman is a weirdo, and they don't exactly care if it hurts your feelings for them to say it aloud.

Minor also claimed he "was called he and him well over 30 times." Oh, the humanity!

Look, the government should have never caved to this idiocy. Minor should be housed in a men's prison because he's a man--not a woman and not a "youth." And the fact that the state continues to pander to this idiocy only shows just how stupid the people running our governments truly are.
