For some people, having kids isn't exactly in the cards. You'd think that would be the case for a girl who abandoned her womanhood to become a dude. Especially after being pumped full of testosterone so many times. After all, pregnancy and hormone treatment don't seem all that compatible, right? ...Right?

See the photo above? That's not a bloated dude after Thanksgiving. There's a baby brewing in there. Behold, Hayden Cross, a woman who turned into a man who got itself pregnant. And here you thought dude-ladies couldn't get pregnant. Consider your paltry glass ceiling shattered.

The unemployed former Asda worker, born a girl 20 years ago, is legally male and has begun hormone treatment.

Dad-to-be Hayden found a sperm donor through Facebook to make himself pregnant after putting his gender change on hold.  Now 16 weeks pregnant, he plans to have the baby before returning straight away to complete the transition process, which will remove his breasts and ovaries.

Hayden said: "People think you can't be a man and have a baby, but it isn't that simple."

Hayden admits he now feels uncomfortable carrying a child and struggles with the physical changes. "I was finally starting to become myself and become a man physically - but now my body is going in the opposite direction."

So let me get this straight. The woman turned into a man. Then started to regret that he/she/it could never have a baby. So ze found a way to inseminate zerself. Aaaand now Hayden regrets getting pregnant... Because it looks less manly...

Methinks the manjections are beginning to mess with her brain. Hormone therapy has been known to do that...

This is simply the most recent act of "progress" for which we have the left to thank. This transgender man doesn't seem all too happy to actually be having a child. Rather, it's more of a metaphorical middle finger raised to traditional gender roles and parenting standards. Now an innocent baby is thrown into the mix, all for the sake of proving oneself in a silly social experiment.

An unemployed, frumpy, gender-confused marsh ogre raising a baby all by itself? I'm sure we can all guess how that's going to pan out...
