Well isn't this fun. You know how transgenders choose to "change their gender" for entirely cosmetic reasons?

Right. Well now they're trying to claim it's not cosmetic and it should be covered under insurance. No, really...

For decades, transgender people have been denied coverage for surgeries, mental-health therapy, hair removal and medications that would help them transition to another gender — anything related to transgender health care was excluded in insurance plans. Despite major strides for trans people in the last two years, many insurance companies and state government plans that no longer categorically exclude all transgender care still exclude some transition-related procedures, often calling them “cosmetic.”

Calling non-functioning, non-real sex organs "cosmetic"?! Here we go...

This next part is cute.

“Every time I get out of the shower and I look at myself in the mirror, I think, ‘That’s not want I want,’” she said. “It’s a big deal every day. I feel like, with this body I have, I can’t imagine being in a relationship with someone.”

Actually, that's the very definition of cosmetic surgery. Most people get out of the shower, look at themselves in the mirror, and think "I want less of that" or "I wish these were bigger."

That's exactly how I feel about my back-hair. You feel that way about your penis.

But, of course, we have to pretend transgenders are normal. Because tolerance and cis-male privilege or something. So instead, we must turn a blind eye as these people pump their body full of hormones (often cancergenic hormones, mind you), mutilate their genitals, replace them with problematic, non-functioning genitals and act as though it's entirely normal and "non-cosmetic."

Combine this with Obamacare and you've got an epic s***storm to start the new year. You can be sure that plenty of these "non-cosmetic" procedures will cost the taxpayers plenty of money. Let me walk you through the process.

1. Everyone MUST buy insurance or face a financial penalty. Period. Obamacare.
2. Insurance companies CANNOT deny people for pre-existing conditions. Including body dysmorphia as seen here.
3. Insurance companies also CANNOT deny birth control or "women's health" coverage.
4. Liberals want all male-to-female transexuals to be legally defined as female.
5. Liberals want to legally define cosmetic sex surgery as non-cosmetic, and non-elective. Also, as "women's health."

So what do you think happens to that insurance company's risk pool? What if you don't want to be lumped in with a group of people who have the highest suicide rate in the world, and have risky procedures performed on themselves (coming with great complications)? It doesn't matter. You will be forced to care.
