You know things are going bad for Joe Biden when even late-night comedians are taking shots at him. Maybe that's why he's in such a bad mood. Late-night comedians are among his most loyal subjects. Yet here is Trevor Noah making fun of the lack of respect world leaders have for Biden. Even worse, this wouldn't be happening under Donald Trump.

Some backstory. The people who control Joe Biden refuse to admit they are wrong to kill domestic energy production. Since everything still runs on oil, Biden went to beg Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to produce more. I guess American energy kills the environment while Arab energy does not. Saudi and UAE leaders allegedly refused to take Biden's call. I say "alleged" because the White House claims it didn't happen. But the White House also claims American inflation is the fault of Putin.

Here's Trevor Noah pointing out how the emperor is not wearing any trousers.

“If you ignored Donald Trump’s calls, you didn’t know how he would respond. Maybe he’d send an angry tweet, or maybe he’d ban your country from everything. You don’t know. That’s why I bet in these situations, Biden actually wishes that he could hire Trump to step in as President Wild Card. Just keep everyone on their toes. ‘Cause if Trump was calling, you best believe the UAE would be racing to pick up the phone.”

While accurate, you get the sense Noah's comments about Donald Trump aren't said with the same affection you or I say them with. Trevor is still right. Other world leaders weren't ghosting Trump.

An argument can also be made that none of what's going on right now would be happening if Trump was president. An argument that most of America agrees with. Putin could have invaded Ukraine when his alleged "puppet" was president. Yet he didn't. He waited for Joe Biden. Because Biden is a weak, ineffective, possibly senile "leader" that our adversaries don't respect.
