There's been quite the drama unfolding surrounding Trump over the last few weeks ever since he announced his run for president. The left has busied themselves swarming over Putin's latest bowel movement. Meanwhile, the Trump admin is getting stuff done. Behold said stuff:

President Trump's administration, on orders to kill two regulations for every new one, ripped up the playbook during its first six months, eliminating 16 old rules for every new one, according to top officials.

...Hundreds of regulations have been killed or shelved, many from the final days of the Obama administration that flooded the system with proposed rules. The bare numbers will show the Trump administration has "withdrawn or removed from active status" 860 regulations so far.

I imagine the Obama admin pushing all those regulations at the last minute, only to see them now circling the drain. They'll be missed as much as a herpes flare-up.

Serious kudos to President Trump for snuffing out these regulations. While Obama era regulations came with a painful price tag, axing them will usher major savings. Not to mention it leads to less government overreach. A good day for all of America. A bad day for leftist snot muffins who hate success. Suck it, basement trolls.

The Unified Agenda [report] will also show a 50 percent drop in regulations with an economic impact of $100 million or more, and a 40 percent drop in other less expensive rules.

In the last five months of fiscal year 2016, the Obama administration imposed $6.8 billion in annualized costs from the economically significant rules. By contrast, the Trump administration has imposed less than $0 in regulatory costs during its first five months.

Comparing Obama's first five months in office to Trump's, Obama imposed $3.1 billion in costs. Trump has cut regulations, realizing an annualized cost saving of $22 million.

Every time Trump quashes a regulation, an Antifa protester lives another decade in his mommy's basement (see WIN! Trump Cuts Regulations MAJORLY With Latest Executive Order). The left wants to regulate everything: healthcare, the auto industry, finances, guns, every puff of climate change causing flatulence. So, of course, such changes come as a breath unpoisoned air. After an almost decade of Obama's collection of micromanaging, freedom stomping decrees, this is a win.

Now that it's no longer saddled under the heft of the Obama administration and all their regulations, let's hope the economy continues to flourish. Like a candy-hyped midget in Toyland.
