Cuba is one of the last bastions of full-on Communism. Well, besides the addled brain of a college student. But Cuba shows no signs of changing. Despite the left's love affair with all things Cuban, the island remains an impoverished craphole, all thanks to the wonderful ideals of Marx and Engels. Our former buttplug-in-chief Obama thought it wise to establish a policy that put us in bed with their commies. Well, the Trumpinator is having none of it...

President Trump took a hard line against the Castro regime, criticized his predecessor's approach to Cuba, and praised the courage of Cuban dissidents in a Friday speech in Miami's Little Havana that marked the beginning of sweeping changes to U.S.-Cuba relations.

Mr. Trump -- fulfilling a campaign promise to roll back Obama-era policies that had eased restrictions on Cuban trade and travel -- announced he is reversing the "one-sided" Obama-era approach in a way that won't tolerate the Cuban regime's infringement on freedoms. Mr. Trump was flanked by officials like Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, Florida Republican Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, Florida Gov. Rick Scott, and Vice President Mike Pence.

"The previous administration's easing of restrictions on travel and trade does not help the Cuban people, they only enrich the Cuban regime," Mr. Trump said.

Well, that's a welcome change compared to the last guy, and the totally manly bromance he established with Raoul...

On the surface, Cuba might seem like a hella cool place. They're known for producing the finest cigars. They also gave unto us Ricky Ricardo and Tony Montana. But, hidden under all that is a leftist regime with enough human rights violations to make Hitler blush. People are willing padd in shark-infested waters to escape. But that literacy rate, tho.

The left, on the other hand, has long romanticized Cuba and their commie higher-ups. When Fidel puffed his last stogie, the left went into mourning mode. Brooklyn hipsters sport their Che Guevara t-shirts without the slightest whiff of irony. We have our own twist on the classic Che shirt that perfectly sums up socialism. Check it out. #shamelessplug

This is one case where The Trump is right on the money. Every bit of our hard-earned greenbacks that get sent to Cuba don't go to the business owners or the workers. They go straight to the Cohiba-chomping commie overlords who use the money to prop up their corrupt, leftist regime. This bromance isn't working out. Until the ruling class in Cuba comes to their senses and lets their people go free, it's probably best if we see other people.
