Trump Shuts Down NBC News Reporter Pushing Gun Control in South Korea
There was some concern over just how strong Donald Trump would be over the Second Amendment, considering his past record. To be honest, I was concerned. When the hot lead left the chamber, was all of his pro-gun talk during the primary just Trump playing the part? After hearing his response to this NBC News reporter in South Korea, I'm resting easier.
After the tragic church shooting (see Paul Ryan Blasts Leftist/Hollywood Critics of 'Thoughts and Prayers' and Top 5 Boneheaded Celeb Responses to the Sutherland Springs Shooting), do we need "extreme vetting" of gun owners? You know, because Trump wants "extreme vetting" when it comes to terrorism?
NBC NEWS: You called for extreme vetting when it comes to terrorism, but what about extreme vetting of gun owners because I read something on a leftist blog a derpity derp derp derp derp?"TRUMP: "If [we had extreme gun vetting], we may not have had that very brave person who happened to have a gun or a rifle in his truck go out and shoot [the church shooter] and neutralize him. I can only say this. If he didn't have a gun, instead of having twenty-six dead, you would have had hundreds more dead. So that's the way I feel about it."
Yep.
The left constantly hammers "MOAR GUN CONTROL!" without actually knowing any of the gun laws already on the books. They just believe "MOAR" control is better. Even though everything failed here. The Air Force failed to report the shooter to the FBI, to prevent the shooter from getting guns in the first place. So what failed here was government. What worked was the Second Amendment.
Good guy with guns. It's a thing.
