No matter where you stand on the President, you have to admit Trump defies many Republican stereotypes. Which is marketing buzz for "he's not conservative." Like Trump's position on LGBT issues, for example. Trump is all about the rainbow love. Which isn't common amongst GOPers. No matter, Trump has an R after his name! Ergo BO-perfumed hippies insist Trump will run the gays out of their impeccably decorated homes and into electro-shock therapy camps. Mike Pence will throw the homo switch.

Except Trump has said the exact opposite. Behold! Evidence...

The White House sought Tuesday morning to calm fears that President Donald Trump will roll back protections for the LGBTQ community, issuing a statement saying he will keep in place a 2014 executive order that bans anti-LGBTQ workplace discrimination.

“President Trump continues to be respectful and supportive of LGBTQ rights, just as he was throughout the election,” the statement reads. “The President is proud to have been the first ever GOP nominee to mention the LGBTQ community in his nomination acceptance speech, pledging then to protect the community from violence and oppression.”

Despite all the evidence to the contrary, the left is still trying to paint Trump as an "out-of-date, puritanical bigot." But no, he's not. As I recall, Caitlyn Jenner dropped trou in Trump Tower for a commemorative lady's room tinkle. No word yet on Lady Jenner remembered to put the lid back down. But this alleged hater of the trannies Trump? He approved. Regardless of toilet seat up or down status.

So the left's move to paint the Donald as this intolerant bigot who's going to undo LGBTQAAIP (silent F) "rights"? Pathetic scare tactics. Embarrassingly transparent ones, at that.

All while hoping nobody pays attention to the truth. Those jabs may have landed on other Republican presidents, but Trump is not your average Republican. Yes, that's still marketing buzz. But there's still truth to it. Donald Trump isn't a lying down, meek little man quick to turn the other cheek. Take from that little parable what you will.

The left has decided to lie to everyone, instead of reworking their playbook. Remind me, who is out of date again?
