If you're the politically-savvy type, you've no doubt already prepared yourself for the imminent avalanche of leftist butthurt over the Donald's upcoming SCOTUS pick. They can't bear the thought of their ability to commit infanticide joining those slaughtered kiddos in the trash bin.

Well, speculate no more. The Donald made his pick:

President Donald Trump on Monday will nominate Brett Kavanaugh, a federal appeals court judge in Washington to succeed Anthony Kennedy on the Supreme Court, NBC News has learned.

Kavanaugh serves on the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, which often rules on major challenges to federal laws and policies. If confirmed, he would make the Supreme Court solidly conservative, joining Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, and Neil Gorsuch — providing a five-vote majority.

He would be sure to join the conservatives more often than Kennedy, who sometimes voted with the court's liberals in cases raising hot-button social issues.

Cue lefty outrage in 3... 2... 1...

Break out the bubbly, folks. The Supreme Court got a little bit closer to functioning as it was intended. With Kavanaugh, the Supreme Court will hopefully be a little closer toward fully adhering to the Constitution, not whatever trendy cause the left is pushing at the given moment. It seems, at least for the time being, the freedoms of speech, religion, and boomstickery are safe from lefty fascists' talons.

Naturally, the left is going to go nuclear over this. Don't be surprised when Michael Moore puts the blubbery mass he calls a body "on the line" to stop Kavanaugh's confirmation. Also, judging from lefties' escalating actions, don't be shocked if some of the more bloodthirsty "progressives" dust off their nail-studded 2x4s and ninja costumes.

Though, none of their incessant whining will change reality. The Supreme Court is about to be back in business.

Let's be honest, these leftists don't care who Trump picks. They're going to rage, no matter what. "If Trump picked them, they've got to be a NRA-backed fascist who supports hate speech and wants babies to be born."

So, strap in and hold on to your butts. It's about to be a bumpy ride.
