America sees the fun Donald Trump who goes on The Tonight Show, jokes, and let's the host mess up his hair for a laugh. They see the someone not controlled by handlers, who talks and laughs like them.

The pop culture appearances, selling a candidacy based on "likability" renders our arguments about policy moot. Should it? Personally I don't think so. But we're in a time where it seems too many voters care more about personality than anything else. Americans seem to put more emphasis on style of delivery rather than what's being delivered (it was the same in 2008). Which is still bad news for Madam Cankles. She couldn't deliver chocolate chip cookies without scaring all the neighborhood children.
