It appears that Mexico has been taking notes. In a recent statement, they lamented that Trump shouldn't build a border wall. Again. This time not because Mexico simply doesn't want the wall though. See, building a wall would be bad for the environment...

Sada also pointed out that fencing and other types of barriers already exist along 700 of the 2,000-mile-long border, including in Arizona. Building an actual wall could hurt the environment and curtail trade between the two countries.

"We fear that there is going to be consequences regarding environmental issues," he said. "It's also going to be sending a very negative message. What we say is we like to build bridges."

Yep, Mexico said those words, sans any further explanation. The trick is to lightly pepper in environmental issues so as to deter from one's own tardsome tomfoolery. Ambassador Mexico exercised perfect form in this case. Truly deserving of a round of maraca shaking.

By the way, when is Mexico going to alert the rest of the country that it suddenly cares about the environment? Methinks using the streets as dumpsters is also bad for Mother Earth. Mexico City must have missed the go green memo. But I'm no scientist.

Mexico is frantically running out of ideas. They've been attached to the USA like a spicy tumor for a while now. The thought of being cut off? No bueno. On the bright side, at least global warming isn't a thing. Silver lining.
