Progressives are the masters of psychological projection. They more often than not, point the finger at the destruction they have created. They have to do that. What else are they going to do? Admit they are nothing more than a bunch of failures?

My strong belief is that part of the reason that people's perception, the economy was good in the Trump era, that Trump would be good at managing the economy, is that he constantly unceasingly sledgehammered us over the head with propaganda about it day after day after day.’”

The biggest thing that Hayes and other progressives seem to forget, is that anyone who lived under Trump also lived under Biden. So Americans know exactly how much they were able to buy at the grocery store with $100 versus what they get today. They know how much it cost to fill their tank then vs now. No amount of “propaganda” changes those facts.

But the propaganda does seem to affect leftist voters who suffer from Cognitive dissonance as they will defend their beliefs even though they don’t tend to line up with real life.

I don’t have to tell you how infuriating it is that the left keeps trying to gaslight us on the economy and pretend that it's somehow Trump's fault and has nothing to do with Biden’s policies. You have probably already pulled out your hair if you have made it this far in this article.

The left has failed the economy so badly that their last hope is that people might just deny reality because they hate Trump that much. And they probably will. If you ever met someone who suffers from Trump Derangement Syndrome, they will come up with any excuse under the sun to not vote for him. You can bring up something bad Biden has done, like the way the administration handled pulling out of Afghanistan, and they will say “That’s Trump's fault!”

They do that!!! They really do.

So for people with TDS, this propaganda might work as they deny their lived experiences and actual reality all because Trump had mean Tweets. But for people who don't need MSNBC to tell them what to think, this liberal programming might not work with them. And it defitnley won't work with what they call "moderate voters."
