The Trump Administration announced a freeze on federal funding and the left is melting down. Today’s show breaks down their lies.

According to Fox 5:

A federal judge on Tuesday temporarily blocked President Donald Trump's attempt to halt federal funding while his administration conducts a comprehensive ideological review aimed at eliminating progressive initiatives.

U.S. District Judge Loren L. AliKhan blocked the funding freeze just minutes before it was set to take effect. The administrative stay, prompted by a lawsuit from nonprofit groups receiving federal money, will last until Monday afternoon. Another court hearing is scheduled for that morning to address the issue.

According to Sen. Dick Durbin, Trump is cutting basic services for families and veterans—however, this memo is aimed at agencies violating Trump’s executive orders.

According to Axios, “the order did not apply ‘across the board’ and was limited to programs implicated by the president's recent executive orders, ‘such as ending DEI, the green new deal and funding nongovernmental organizations that undermine the national interest.’"

Secondly, the left claims this freeze will starve the children. For example, CNN said this could potentially impact school lunches.

According to a memo from the White House, “In addition to Social Security and Medicare, already explicitly excluded in the guidance, mandatory programs like Medicaid and SNAP will continue without pause. Funds for small businesses, farmers, Pell grants, Head Start, rental assistance, and other similar programs will not be paused.”

“They can’t say they didn’t know. They know, and they are lying to you,” Crowder said.

The left also claimed the freeze was unconstitutional.

“It is the president’s job to enforce the law,” Crowder added. “You may not like it, but that does not give [the media] the right to say it's unconstitutional."

It’s also a lie when the left claims this has never been done before.

For example, “President Roosevelt refused to spend more than $500 million in public works funds on policy grounds,” according to American Heritage.

“If you believe everything the left says, you will believe he’s Hitler,” Crowder said.
