Taylor Lorenz, Brian Stelter can barely hide their jealousy in petty tweets about Tucker Carlson's first Twitter show
Tucker Carlson dropped his first episode of "Tucker on Twitter" on Tuesday night. Why, yes. Leftists are in meltdown. However, did you guess? But there were two tweets from Tucker critics that were extra petty. One of them was from the nearly forty-year-old trust fund baby turned tech blogger Taylor Lorenz. The other was from our favorite genderless potato head, Brian Stelter.
Lorenz took a break from lashing out at her colleagues and doxxing people who are prettier than her to criticize Tucker for not making a TikTok video as all the cool kids do. Also, is she even still at WaPo? It's not in her Twitter bio, and without her being verified I can't even be certain this is her. But it sounds like her:
“It’s wild to see what a fish out of water he is on the internet: no jump cuts, no background music, no catchy thumbnail or video title. Not sure how he’s going to stack up against even an average streamer or youtuber.”— Taylor Lorenz -- FOLLOW ME ON LINKEDIN (@Taylor Lorenz -- FOLLOW ME ON LINKEDIN) 1686099842
Right. OR, Tucker is a grown-up who appeals to grown-ups. The monologue was always the best part of the show. He doesn't need flying toasters or overlays in the background to deliver the monologue. 70 million views later, it would appear no frills Carlson works.
Then you have Tater, who put down his second cheesecake to criticize Tucker for running his own teleprompter. Note: Stelter doesn't have anyone to run a teleprompter for him either. Because no one wants to hire Stelter. Because no one likes Stelter.
“"Tucker on Twitter" is how @TuckerCarlson's video is branded. Notice his right hand in the wide shot: He's using a TelePrompTer controller to run the prompter himself”— Brian Stelter (@Brian Stelter) 1686089027
Methinks Brian is still emotional over this sick burn:
Call me crazy, but I think Tucker Carlson will be fine doing things the way he does them. It's worked this far.
