But Facebook is...you know, Facebook. Their algorithm hides our ranting and raving as best it can. The best way to stick it to Zuckerface?

Tucker Carlson explains Facebook is now the “Thought Police”
Ah Facebook. The social media platform everyone is seemingly sucked into since everyone is a member of it. "Why Social Media Was a Mistake" is a topic for another time. Today, let's talk the Facebook algorithm. The bane of every social media manager's existence. Or people who wear multiple hats in their career. Ahem.
Here's how the algorithm appears to be working: one can post a request for snow removal -- a priority -- but which no one will apparently see. Or simply post a story from The Daily Wire. Same effect.
Yet if I take a "Which Character from 'Frozen' are You!?" quiz or type "Trump is literally Hitler" as a status update, it goes right up to the top of everyone's newsfeeds. Facebook says such a thing is "connecting you to more people." Becuase Facebook is overcome with warm and fuzzy feelings when it's forming a legitimate human connection. Via people staring at their phones everywhere they go. Cute story. It's also how the company does their patriotic duty to silence any opinion they disagree with. Here, let Tucker Carlson connect the dots for you.
But Facebook is not a neutral host. It has a political agenda. Earlier this year, Facebook altered its algorithms for what news stories its users see. And the result conclusively have been devastating for conservatives online. Breitbart, the news site has basically lost about 30 percent of its traffic since that happened, PragerU, down 30 percent. Daily Caller is down, Rare closed its doors, some are saying IJR [Independent Journal Review] is on the brink of collapse because of it. Fox, by the way, is down too. Meanwhile the purveyors of approved elite opinions, CNN, The New York Times, The Washington Post, they’ve been unaffected by this. What is this? Well, it’s an act of ideological warfare and it’s far more worrying that anything Cambridge Analytica has done or is accused of doing.
You don't have to tell us twice (Former Facebook Employees SPECIFICALLY NAME ‘Steven Crowder’ As Blacklisted News Site and Steven Crowder Officially Files Legal Motion Against Facebook Requesting Information). To be fair, a business plan that is 95% reliant on a single social media platform isn't the smartest idea. It's why we have Mug Club. Also, sign up for Mug Club. But Tucker brings up valid points, ones we've echoed about YouTube and Twitter. These social media behemoths aren't being honest about their biases. It would be one thing to say "Yep, we're leftists and we're only going to promote leftist content!" and screw conservatives. It's another issue when these platforms engage in business with conservatives, then silence them. Can't have it both ways. Read Twitter Suspends Steven Crowder for Violating 'Hateful Conduct' Terms
These platforms are so huge, they basically control the internet. Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Google are all run by ideological leftists. Ideological leftists are deciding what information we see and what information we don't see.
Shorter:
How all of this will shake out is hard to tell. People are souring on social media in general. But control of the internet is not a war from which the left will retreat.
