Watch: Is It Treasonous For Tucker Carlson To Interview Putin?!
Is Tucker Carlson in Russia to interview Vladimir Putin? Today’s show gets into that.
Tucker Carlson was spotted in Moscow and rumors have circulated over whether or not he is going to interview Putin.
According to Newsweek:
“Carlson said in late September 2023 that he had attempted to interview the Russian leader, but that the U.S. government had blocked the move. ‘I tried to interview Vladimir Putin, and the U.S. government stopped me,’ Carlson told Swiss magazine, Die Weltwoche.
Former U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger even called Carlson a "traitor".
"You can not like it all you want, but is he aiding our enemy?" Gerald A said. "How does that make any sense, Adam?"
"Let's say you don't interview a dictator, that's one level. [Or] you do interview a dictator but you completely disagree with this person and you think their impact on the world is fascinating. Let's go a step further. You interview a dictator and you think that they may have some redeeming qualities, which is how you think they have ascended to the position of a pseudo-dictator while agreeing with some extreme actions they have taken. That’s level three,” Crowder said. “[The media] want you to believe he is a level four and that he is interviewing Putin because he loves everything he has done and he supports Totalitarianism.”
Do you think it’s maybe because he's not Zelenskyy?
“He does not come off to me as a shill for anybody,” Gerald A said.
Mike Wallace spoke with Ayatollah Khomeini after the Iran Hostage Crisis in 1979. Fidel Castro was on Face the Nation in 1959. Larry King interviewed Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi in 2009. Barbara Walters interviewed Syria's Bashar al-Assad.
"Here is the thing, there can be horrible countries on the face of the earth and you don't have to go to war with them," Crowder said.
Senators have also just unveiled a bipartisan immigration bill that provides another $60 billion to Ukraine.
"That does worry me, that you can't interview Putin and we are pledging another $60 billion to Ukraine. That should worry everybody at this point. Either you need to be neutral or you need to be out in the open. And this government should have no say in what any of the press [does]," Crowder said. "The concern is reaching a point where only one side can speak, which we have seen in the past."
