The Islamic country of Turkey is moderate by leftist standards. For instance, homosexuality is technically legal over there. But make no mistake, if Turks discover you're playing multiple games of hide the sausage, it won't be long before they throw you on the fire. If not off a building. It's best to keep your sausage hiding hidden, if you catch my drift. Otherwise the oh-so-tolerant "moderate" Muslims will kill you dead. Brutally. Such was the unfortunate end for this gay Syrian refugee.

The headless, mutilated body of a gay Syrian man has been identified by gay housemates in Istanbul who say he had been gang-raped previously. The friends of Muhammad Wisam Sankari told a Turkish gay rights group that they had been threatened by violent male gangs.

Mr Sankari, a refugee, arrived in Istanbul a year ago. His body was found in Yenikapi, a central district, on 25 July. No arrests have been made.

"We complained to the police headquarters but nothing happened," [a friend] said.

Homo-hating is a pretty common occurrence in Turkey (see Muslim Group Plans Genocide at Turkey's Gay Pride Parade). As in actual, murderous hate, not to be confused with refused-to-bake-a-cake "hate". Take note, LGBT, there's a of a difference. In one culture, you could be murdered. In the other, denied a fondant covered confection. This mental exercise isn't meant to trick you. In America, in Christianity, one's gay noggin is still attached to one's body. That person just may not be cutting any rainbow cake. Have I crystalized the point for you here?

See, this is one of many instances where Muslims and western conservative "bigots" couldn't be more different from one another. Still, ever notice how leftists continue to lump us into the same category of cruelty? This refugee was tortured and killed simply for the crime of gaying it up. Meanwhile, the police? Couldn't be bothered to so much as bat an eyelash.

This is what "moderate" Islam looks like. Beheadings and rape. Not a pretty picture. Yet it gets ignored by leftists, swept right under the prayer mat. These are the same people who claim to care about the gays, might I add. Instead of addressing Islam's anti anything-liberal-ness, they shift their outrage onto conservatives and Christians (see Of Course! ACLU Blames Orlando on... Conservative Christians?). Meanwhile Turkish LGBT gets the crap end of the machete. Priorities. See how that works?
