'Wah wah censorship': Twitter execs mocks conservatives while favoring pro-Biden 'misinformation'
Twitter Files Part 3 dropped and it's like drinking from a firehose. Part 3 is also being broken into three parts, with more anticipated over the weekend about "The Removal of Donald Trump."
1. THREAD: The Twitter Files
THE REMOVAL OF DONALD TRUMP
Part One: October 2020-January 6th

Scroll through at your leisure. Make sure to check out all the times the feds got cozy with Twitter executives. I wanted to focus on a few tweets in the middle that expose the type of people who were tasked with throttling tweets, surfacing tweets, and deciding what was "misinformation" or not. Spoiler: they were all bitterly partisan commie as f*ck activists.
Ones who would routinely mock conservatives that were targeted. Like Congressman Jody Rice and Judicial Watch. Criticism was mocked as "wah wah censorship."

When pro-Biden forces were engaged in conspiracy theories, those tweets all got surfaced because they were "understandable."
42. “THAT’S UNDERSTANDABLE”: Even the hashtag #StealOurVotes – referencing a theory that a combo of Amy Coney Barrett and Trump will steal the election – is approved by Twitter brass, because it’s “understandable” and a “reference to… a US Supreme Court decision.” pic.twitter.com/6BjJhjypD2

One tweet that was dinged ever so slightly was from former Attorney General Eric Holder. He claimed without evidence that the post office was "deliberately crippled" by the administration. The tweet was hit with a generic warning... that Twitter's Head of Trust and Safety had removed because, in his words, it was factually accurate.
"Deliberately crippled" was factually accurate according to the person who decides what is misinformation and what is not.
57. The firm’s executives on day 1 of the January 6th crisis at least tried to pay lip service to its dizzying array of rules. By day 2, they began wavering. By day 3, a million rules were reduced to one: what we say, goes

Here's the thing. I get the focus on the Trump stuff. The historic precedence of deplatforming a SITTING WORLD LEADER speaks for itself.
What I'm more interested in is the "what we say, goes" aspect of Twitter during the first two years of the Biden administration. Where every thought that the White House disagreed with was labeled varying shades of "misinformation." That's all coming soon, I'm sure. I'm just impatient.
