If you’ve been paying attention, you know what’s been going on with Twitter. Even if you haven’t been paying attention, you’ve probably heard what’s going on with Twitter. It’s every other headline this week. So, you know Elon Musk bought Twitter, and you know the left is losing their minds. Did you also know follower counts on the app have been shifting drastically?

You might not have noticed it because you have a life, and the same things elites on Twitter are concerned about don’t necessarily concern everyday people. We have bills to pay. But something is definitely being shaken up somewhere in the Twitterverse because numbers have been changing all over the place.

Elon Musk hasn’t gotten the keys to the Twitter HQ just yet. Nothing going on over at Twitter is caused by Musk’s own hand. People at Twitter are probably just shaking in their office chairs, worrying Musk will have no issue going public to say exactly what kind of funny business has been going on.

“Hey, you! Grab those files and take them to the shredder. And you! Make sure you burn the shredded papers. And, hey, Arnie, make sure you go in and delete all the codes that make us look like censors and hacks! C’mon, guys! We don’t have much time!”

How else do we explain the skyrocketing numbers of followers populating on conservative accounts and the plummeting numbers at numerous leftist accounts? I’m open to theories, but this one sounds the most plausible.

I mean, I suppose a bunch of leftists could be moving to virtual Canada… but that would still only explain half of the story.

But this has real consequences. We all knew there was censorship, shadow-banning, and throttling occurring on social media, but these numbers provide us a little bit of proof. What are we going to find out when Musk finally gets in there?
