Nothing but terrifying and heartbreaking videos coming out of Ukraine. These two are the ones that got to me. In America and most other countries, men make the decision to enlist in the armed services to defend their country when need be. Then when freedom needs to be defended, those brave soldiers are sent to a different country where the conflict is. In the Ukraine, men--not only soldiers--are sending their families away while they stay and fight.

That's because Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced this morning that he will give guns and weapons to all who stay and defend their country.

"We will give weapons to anyone who wants to defend the country. Be ready to support Ukraine in the squares of our cities."

They will give weapons to anyone who stays and fights. Think about walking out of your house, walking down to the town square, and being handed a rifle because of the Russians. It's the movie Red Dawn come to life. The real one from the 80s. Not the crappy remake.

It's a legit debate as to what our interests are in Ukraine. There's an argument to be made the only reason Putin is doing this now is because of what a weak and ineffective leader Joe Biden is. Biden has embarrassed himself on the world stage over Putin again and again and again. We're all in a position where we are safe to make those arguments. Just please keep in your prayers the people who woke up this morning and discovered they aren't.
