The leftist war against "fake news" rages on. Universities all across the country are hosting classes and seminars on identifying non-leftist news "fake news" and removing it from the interwebs like a fatty tumor. The problem with that is leftists push actual fake news like a pot dealer at Coachella. So, finding a squeaky clean leftist to brainwash educate the students is a near impossible task. A BuzzFeed editor visited Pennsylvania State University Thursday to give a presentation on fake news and Facebook’s role in spreading it.

Craig Silverman, whom Fortune has called a “fake news expert,” spoke at Penn State regarding fake news and Facebook’s role in propagating it during the election, as reported by Daily Collegian.

“It’s crazy, but misinformation about American politics has actually become a good business opportunity,” said Silverman.

In “Fake News, Real Consequences,” Silverman called the 2016 presidential election the “perfect storm” for fake news. The BuzzFeed editor condemned fake news for causing both journalists and the audience to question the reliability of media outlets instead of paying attention to significant articles.

“They need to be held responsible,” said Silverman, referring to Facebook and proposing that the site changes its algorithm so that fake news doesn’t get boosted via social media so easily.

Yes, in case you were wondering, this is the same BuzzFeed who falsely accused President Trump of getting tinkled on by Russian hookers, and subsequently became a laughing stock. How ironic that one of their editors would fancy himself an anti-fake news authority. Then again, when you think about it, maybe one of their editors would be an ideal speaker on the subject. A prime example of what not to do, seeing as his site helped write the book on fake news.

Leftists, like the ones at BuzzFeed, view fake news in a different way than you or me. To us, fake news means exactly what it says. News that is fake. Simple enough, right? To a leftist, on the other hand, fake news is anything, even an opinion, that leftists disagree with. If you so much as step one foot outside the leftist line in the sand and they find out, you'll be on the fast train to Fakesville.

Pennsylvania State welcomed this fake news hustler into their domain, knowing his site's checkered past on factual accuracy. And possibly delighting in its spreading. Which goes to show our universities don't two gerbil farts about fighting fake news. Their real goal is infecting their students with the disease that is leftism. Best for you students to stay caught up on your inoculations.
