We've seen both prayer and freedom of speech in general attacked on campus. It's hardly surprising these days. After all, we're living in 2016. Where old men can pretend to be 6-year-old girls and you don't get to feel uncomfortable about it, you bigot. But we haven't seen the likes of "designated free speech areas" yet. Until now...

[A grad student] was walking across Clemson's campus last Thursday when she saw a man [praying]. "...We sat down to pray for a few minutes," Palange told Young America's Foundation.

"When we finished, a man from the university approached us and said he could not be praying there because it was not a 'designated free speech area'... He told him he had to leave."

Clemson University spokesman told the College Fix they did not ask the man to leave campus or interrupt his prayer, and people are welcome to pray anywhere on campus. But individuals or groups not affiliated with the university have to register certain activities so they can be conducted in appropriate areas.

Yep, that actually happened. To be fair, the campus-stranger policy itself does seem understandable. That is, if the rules apply to everyone. Not just people trying to pray (see Elementary School Calls Cops on Student... For Handing Out Bible Verses?!). Still, the major problem here? The school designated "free speech areas." And they're exactly what you think. Places where people can speak freely without fear of consequences...

Why does it matter? Clemson liberals transitioned from having "safe spaces" on campus to making the entire campus a safe space. Instead of safe spaces, you have free spaces. Also, those free spaces operate according their rules. Now take that ideology and apply it to a larger scale. For instance, nationally. See the problem?

America is a "free speech zone."

Yes, the entire country. Deal with it. You may not like that this man prays. He may not like you don't pray. Why should there be a winner or loser? Free speech is just that: freedom. You're free to not like it, not free to ban it.

I'm not straw-manning here. Liberals have made it clear as Bernie's receding "hairline": free speech shouldn't be a thing. They'd rather have safe spaces become the norm while freedom becomes a thing of the past. And we've already seen instances of it. For example, Canada (Canadian Man Arrested for 'Islamophobic' Social Media Posts). If you want to see this leftist crapferno in action in the US, just waltz onto any college campus...
