The left has many pet groups. Their favorite-est of the groups is probably the trannies. Tucking back your marbles practically makes you a demigod. Even if you aren't hateful of your peen, there's still ways to get your bona fides. Earn your progressive street cred by pandering to the trannies with promises of free stuff.

A VA hospital in Cleveland did just that, putting sex change procedures at the top of their list. Much further down on that list? Trivial matters, like sterilizing their equipment...

A Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) hospital that touted its program focusing on 20 transgendered individuals failed in caring for the remaining 111,000 veterans on health care essentials like keeping its medical equipment clean and properly training employees, government auditors found.

“We could not gain reasonable assurance that clinical managers effectively monitor the professional competency of providers … patient equipment is clean … [and] employees ensure a safe and healthy environment,” according to the Inspect General (IG) report on the activities at Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center released March 13.

The hospital in question was the subject of positive news coverage in late 2015, with a publicity campaign surrounding the opening of a “clinic for transgender patients.” Veterans are able to receive taxpayer-funded sex change hormones, CBS News reported at the time.

Look on the bright side. If the sex-change surgery doesn't pan out, gangrene will turn their out-ty into an in-ny.

Leftists will always find a way to waste money on things of least importance. The hospital administrators funneled all of their resources to the tranny unit, only to watch their hygiene standards sink to the level of a battlefield hospital at Gettysburg. Now, consider that leftists want control of all healthcare across the U-S-of-A. Suddenly not sounding like such a great idea, is it?

I suppose if anyone were to have a problem with this deal, they'd be a self-centered, transphobic bigot. Self-centered because they're more worried about contracting a staph infection than helping Stefonknee achieve his lifelong dream of dropping a deuce in the ladies' potties. "This is the civil rights issue of our time! Who cares if you lose a leg!" So selfish.

The higher-ups at the hospital may have felt they were doing the right thing by being at the forefront of "progress." But, in kissing ass prioritizing care for a small minority of veterans, they put all veterans at risk, including the transformer ones. Then again, leftists always put the whims of minorities over the needs of the majority. For the left, this is just business as usual. Progressives don't care about results, they only care about getting more votes.
