LOL! JD Vance slams an MSNBC host as a "dummy" before slowly explaining free speech to him
While Germany has decided to root back to its past with Facism-style speech enforcement, the left would like you to believe America is the problem.
The AP has refused to update its stylebook to change the “Gulf of Mexico” to the “Gulf of America.” There is nothing criminal about this; it is their prerogative if they choose to live in Progressive La La Land. However, the White House has decided that they will no longer have a seat during press briefings.
British-American journalist Mehdi Hasan believes this is the real threat to free speech and has attempted to call out JD Vance for his nonexistent hypocrisy. However, Vance responded by calling out his pathetic attempt to label the Trump Administration as anti-free speech overlords.
Yes dummy. I think there’s a difference between not giving a reporter a seat in the WH press briefing room and jailing people for dissenting views. The latter is a threat to free speech, the former is not. Hope that helps!

The fact that the left attempts to claim that what is happening in Europe is even comparable to this is astonishing.

The White House is not stopping AP from living in Progressive La La Land but they have no right to press briefings, especially when seats are limited. So while they have chosen to hold onto their monopoly on journalistic style, the left turns a blind eye to what is going on in Europe, proving how little they truly care about free speech so much as they did with protecting their deranged narrative.
According to Newsmax:
The Associated Press has objected to President Donald Trump and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt's criticisms and reduction of press gaggle invitations, but the White House spokesman called out "weaponizing language" used by the organization.
"This isn't just about the Gulf of America," White House deputy chief of staff Taylor Budowich told Axios. "This is about AP weaponizing language through their stylebook to push a partisan worldview in contrast with the traditional and deeply held beliefs of many Americans and many people around the world."
Language changes the way people perceive the world, which is why this is not so much about the Gulf of America as much as it is about the impact of how people perceive things. So while it's unclear how much this decision will impact naive voters to favor the former name over the latter, that does not afford them the right to declare monopoly over political language. And while these same people would love for you to blame Vance for calling out the Europeans for their fascist censorship, the people voted for this. Subsequently, the left should stop crying now.
