Projection is the process of displacing one’s feelings onto a different person or group and is typically used in a defensive way. For example, a bully might be projecting his own struggle with self-esteem onto the person they are bullying.

Typically, an unconscious discomfort can lead someone to attribute their feelings to someone else in an effort to avoid confronting them.

A perfect example of this is the new racist exhibit at the Vancouver Art Gallery called “Conceptions of White” and it’s worse than you may think.

Upon entering the gallery, guests are first met with a large phrase on the wall that reads, “When you’re the problem, we’re the solution.” The text is accompanied by a white man.

You know, because the only form of racism that is acceptable in society is towards white people.

The exhibit tells white people to shut up, check their privilege, and vocalize their ignorance.

The gallery also received $29 million last year from the Canadian government.

“Stop talking. Never share an uninvited opinion again,” the text on the wall reads. “Check privilege. Learn whether you’re special or just lucky.”

In a nutshell, this exhibit actually promotes racism to both white and black people as it promotes the belief that black people are easily offended.

“Get curious. Vocalize your own ignorance.”

Basically, this exhibit is implying that if you are white you are complacent in a system that is oppressive, and you must reject that, or else that makes you arrogant, defensive, ignorant, and not able to listen to others.

"I walked by some schizophrenic ramblings and pictures on the wall about how because statues from Ancient Rome and Greece had curly hair, they were probably not white people," according to a gallery review from Lindsay Shepherd.

Shepard also reported that there is a computer station with a webcam that reads "Aryan Recognition Tool: How Aryan Are You?” This is supposed to compare your features to “the most infamous leaders of the Third Reich.”

The ironic thing about this is that Hitler and the Nazis would tend to project their own insecurities. It’s probably safe to assume that this woke exhibit is just a way for insecure progressives to project their prejudice against white people.

"Select historical objects and artworks illustrate White origin myths within their historical context, revealing Whiteness as a North American, settler-colonial invention of the seventeenth century, created alongside ‘Blackness’ and “Aboriginality.’” according to the website description.

This exhibit is just another way for progressives to distort history and portray all white people as evil. It also contradicts itself in its views on race.

"The contemporary artists in this exhibition complicate this historical foundation by examining how these acts of racialization are felt today through concepts of White guilt, anxiety, supremacy, benevolence, fragility, and power. These artists encourage us to confront the ideology of cultural erasure embedded in the social construction of Whiteness, the ramifications of its continually expanding borders, and the society fostered by this relatively young theory of racial categorization."

What is the term for a person who views skin color as the prism to analyze all aspects of life? I think it was racist??

Critical race theory has taken too many institutions in the West. The main problem with this ideology is that it actually does the opposite it pretends to do. Ultimately, this deepens racial divisions and does nothing to address any inequality.

There is a push to transform society and have it be controlled by an “antiracist” bureaucracy. This level of intolerance has become a mind virus and should be obviously rejected.

Maybe this exhibit should check their privilege as we all know there is only one race allowed to say racist and evil things and get away with it.
