Socialism sure has done a number on our amigos in Venezuela. Thanks to the wonders of left-wing philosophy, the average Venezuelan's diet consists of a big pile of nothing and the occasional zoo animal. Or family pet. But, sometimes they luck up and acquire more "traditional" cuisine. Which is what happened here, when a group of starving peeps cornered a cow and bashed its brains in for the meat.

A shocking video showing a starving Venezuelan mob beating a cow to death with stones has gone viral amid violent protests that have left four people dead.

Dozens of men shout 'we are hungry' and 'people are suffering' as they surround the cow in the field, throwing stones at it and beating it with a stick.

The helpless animal was slaughtered at the Hacienda Miraflores, in the fishing village of Palmarito in Merida, during a day deadly of civil unrest and looting in the state.

But remember guys, s**tholes don't exist.

Partaking of glorious beef isn't in and of itself controversial. In fact, the mention of dead cow flesh just gave me a craving for a double cheeseburger. What's off-putting is watching a pack of starving 21st century peeps off a heifer like they're in the era of The Flintstones.

This is what a s**thole looks like. Make no mistake, the people aren't excrement, they're just hungry. The Venezuelan government, on the other hand, took a resource-rich country, introduced socialism, and sent it cascading into the septic tank. Hence, s**tholeness.

Funny how it seems like rampant leftism is the common denominator in those countries' s**tholery. No wonder progressives were so offended by Trump's remarks.
