Media Silent…). Apparently a veteran being the victim of a hate crime isn't newsy or truthy enough...

"They asked me if I believe that black lives matter," Marquez said. "I felt threatened and thought they were trying to intimidate me, so I figured I'm just going to keep to my food, eat my food, and hopefully they'll leave me alone. And because I wasn't respond back to them, they were calling me a racist."

Marquez says he doesn't remember much about what happened next, but says the Manager told him the group followed him outside.

"As soon as I walked out of the McDonald's I got hit in the back of the head,or the side of the head. I just dropped to the ground, and he says I looked unconscious," Marquez said.

Marquez is a decorated war veteran, who also had his wallet and credit cards stolen. You know, because social justice.

It's weird that this local crime story isn't getting more mainstream press, ain't it? I mean, it's got all of the makings of a blockbuster! Random attack? Check. Sexy, violent headline? Check. Victimized veteran? Check. "Black Lives Matter" involvement?

... "Black Lives Matter" involvement?

Ah. I see what's going on here. See, the media is so busy looking for ways to blame veteran homelessness on Republicans, that when a real veteran is attacked by the neo-progressive mutant-baby that is #BlackLivesMatter however, they scamper to find another lede.

Better go find another story about how cops are racist.

Here is a story that shows us how that the mantra from today's progressive left is verifiable bullcrap. This veteran had done nothing wrong. He was completely minding his own business. The motives of the assailants were clear as day, because they told him beforehand. This veteran was attacked, simply for being white. Period. That's important to know. Why? Because it acts as a rebuttal to the dumbasses who claim that "racism can't happen against a majority and/or member of society's oppressive race!" 

Allow me to present a novel concept: just because historically, one race (or nation of people) has been discriminated against at one time by another race (or nation) of people, does not mean that they can, in turn, also discriminate against said race of people. Crazy, crazy I know, but go with me on this.

Sometimes white people are racist against black people. That's bad. Also, sometimes black people are racist against white people. Also bad. SHOCKER!!

Also, Asians are racist against everybody. This is a scientific fact.

But none of this fits withe the Black Lives Matter narrative nor that of their complicit girlfriends media. They've got an agenda to push. And by god, stories like this just don't make their lives any easier. So for them, time is better spent on finding a racist boogeyman under every bed, hiding in every non-homosexual closet, or living in every officer's dash cam. In many cases, these cries of racism turn out to be inevitably false. But here we have a real, clear cut example of violence enacted simply based on someone's race. It is the picture-perfect definition of a "hate crime" according to the left.
