VIDEO: Heckler Attacks Comedian During Show Over a Proud Boys Hat
It looks like assaulting comedians whose jokes you don't like is a thing we're doing now. It happened recently to Nick DiPaolo, where he got sucker punched after his show. It's also happened during a Legion of Skanks live podcast. LOS is comprised of three comedians: Jay Oakerson, Luis J. Gomez, and Dave Smith. Two Jewish comedians and a Puerto Rican comedian. Which is only important as they're accused of being white supremacists. For telling jokes in front of someone wearing a "Proud Boys" hat.
You see, the Proud Boys are Gavin McGinnes' crew. I'm sure you see where things are heading.
Gomez went into detail on his podcast. About how the heckler had even spoken to the Proud Boy before the show. Give the podcast a listen. He also talks about how other "comedians" are trying to boycott the comedy club. And brings up the Dimebag Darryl example. Dimebag was the guitar player from Pantera, who was murdered on stage when an audience member came at him with a gun.
Thankfully the clown going up to Gomez was just a leftist douche. But he could have easily not been.
This is where comedy being overly politicized is getting a little scary. Especially in the case of the Skanks, who aren't really political comedians. The problem is they tell some jokes that the people politicizing comedy find triggering. Along with five different types of -ist, and a handful of -isms. Comedians are now their enemies. And there are SITTING MEMBERS OF CONGRESS telling these unhinged leftists to get in people's faces.
Thankfully when most people go to the comedy clubs, they are just looking for a laugh. Even hecklers are usually there for a good time. Incidents like this are still a little scary.
