I love the Iowa caucuses, and it's because of funny moments like this. A voter paying a presidential candidate a compliment because his wife doesn't have a bunch of junk in her trunk.

Vivek Ramaswamy was talking to voters when his wife, Apoorva Ramaswamy, came up in conversation. She was described as having "simple elegance." And while being a celebrated doctor and cancer researcher is cool and all, there is another thing that Vivek should be proud of according to this jolly voter.

"She doesn’t have an ass six ax handles wide either."

An ax handle is a colloquialism used to measure women's butts of a certain size. An ass that is six ax handles wide would be one of them big ol' cottage cheese booties. By saying that Mrs. Ramaswamy did not have an ass that big, the man was paying her a compliment.

Which is how Vivek took it. Even if very online progressives reacted the exact way you would expect very online progressives to react:

My question is if this pleasant fellow had someone in mind who he felt DID have an ass that was six ax handles wide. Casey DeSantis and Melanie Trump both got it going on. And while Nikki Haley has silly opinions about things, I've always found her to be fiiiiiiine.

It is unfortunate for Ramaswamy that viral moments do not count as Iowa Caucus votes. Last week alone, the candidate demolished jorunalsimers and content creators for The Washington Post and NBC News with much aplomb. So much so, they both provided me an excuse to use the word "aplomb."
