The political world has been put in time out while everyone figures out the Hunter Biden plea deal. It may or may not have been rejected. And if it has, it may or may not still be rejected by the end of the day. While Joe Biden directs the lawyers and the DOJ to figure it out and sweeten the deal, here's Vivek Ramaswamy spitting hot fire on the mic.

To be more precise, it's Da Vek. And he isn't spitting bars about ESG scores. He's covering Eminem's "Lose Yourself." Dropping the mic like he dropped Don Lemon's career at CNN.

This is Vivek when he was attending Harvard, auditioning to open up for Busta Rhymes. He tells Politico, "I saw myself, honestly, making it big through American capitalism, and that’s why the Eminem story spoke to me."

The presidential candidate says he was drawn to the rapper because, while Vivek didn’t grow up in a trailer, he also didn’t grow up in the same circumstances that most of his peers at Harvard did, either.

"He’s growing up in the trailers, with a single mom, and he wants to make it. He’s going to use the moment to do it. He feels like he’s going to use the moment to do it, he seizes it and then he makes it happen, and I thought it was a pretty cool story."

Now we know where Vivek gets his skills when it comes to call and response and battling rival MCs.

Unfortunately, we all know what happens next. 217 journalismers are currently on the phone looking to get a comment from Eminem bashing Vivek and all conservatives. "Eminem claps back against Ramaswamy" the content will read. Heaven forbid they let a cool, humanizing moment go by.
