RELIGION OF PEACE: Vogue Model Murdered. For "Not Wearing Islamic Clothing..."
Raudha Athif, a former Vogue model, was found dead in a hostel dormitory. At first thought to be suicide, her brother and father are speaking out that it wasn't. Here's a hint: it rhymes with schmislamic schmxtremists...
He claimed that she was targeted for standing up for people bullied over their religious issues, and that just weeks before she died she had claimed someone had slipped sleeping pills into her drink. He said: ‘There have been a series of murders in Bangladesh which have been staged to look like suicides and Islamic extremists have been suspected to be behind these atrocities.
Ah. Well that does sound a bit shifty now doesn't it? I'll slap "allegedly" around this stuff, but it's not sounding good.
‘Her style of clothing was branded as immodest and un-Islamic even though she adhered to the dress code in the college premises by wearing a veil covering her face.‘But she was criticised for wearing jeans and was repeatedly told she couldn’t wear it at the Muslim college – which has a lot of extremist connections and support. Other students have also been subjected to this type of bullying.’
It could just be a grieving family lashing out. It's so unlike schmislamic schmxtremists to do something like this (see Muslim Kidnaps Woman for “Bringing Shame to Islam…” and 250 Women Refused to Become Islamic Sex Slaves… So They Were Slaughtered Instead). I know, that was blatant sarcasm, but situation warranted it.
Now, this woman was standing up to Islam. She chose to do so via her Levi 501s. I'm not sure if she wore Levi 501s, but you knew they were jeans immediately, so I'll 'splain it no more.
She wanted to be free. Islam dictating what she could and couldn't wear was a symbol of oppression which she decided not to obey. She was "allegedly" killed for it. By Islamists. Who were bullying her for not complying to their oppressive rules.
Besides her family, who is standing up for her? To my knowledge, there's been no outrage from the Islamic community, and I'm hearing little to nothing from feminist corners. Even though this woman was the real deal.
This is Islam. Oppressive, murderous, sexist.
