Pride comes before the fall. And according to the Metropolitan Police in the UK, volunteer police officers "will get a tremendous amount of pride" from "investing their free time." So it is no surprise that a volunteer police officer joyfully told a Christian singer that she was not allowed to sing church songs in public, and then disgustingly stuck her tongue out.

And as much as the government would love to make that one day illegal, it appears the wannabe cop was mistaken. You do have freedom of religion in the U.K., at least somewhat.

According to The Daily Mail:

“A volunteer police officer told a Christian singer that she was 'not allowed to sing church songs outside of church grounds' - before sticking her tongue out at her.

Gospel singer Harmonie London, 20, regularly performs worship music to passing shoppers on Oxford Street and has more than 300,000 subscribers on YouTube.

But she was stopped by a Metropolitan Police special constable and told: 'No miss, you're not allowed to sing church songs outside of church grounds, by the way.'

It is not entirely clear whether the officer was accusing Harmonie of breaking the law in the area, which is a council-regulated zone for busking and street entertainment.

There are no laws against singing on pavements - and Harmonie said the incident breached Article 9 of the Human Rights Act which protects freedom of religion.

As onlookers watched and filmed outside the John Lewis store, Harmonie protested her innocence to the officer, saying: 'You are, you are (able to sing church songs).'

But the officer continued to insist that Harmonie could not sing 'outside of church grounds unless you have been authorised by the church to do these kind of songs'.”

First things first, clearly this woman had a blast telling someone what they can or cannot do. Secondly, it’s unclear what she would have done had that woman been a Muslim, but I think everyone reading this knows how differently things would have probably played out.

It is also unclear if the woman meant Christian songs were not allowed or if she meant all religions. But again, I think we all know the answer to that.

This woman is deranged. No sane person just randomly sticks out their tongue like that after incorrectly trying to own someone. And what a pathetic attempt that was, too. She was on a power trip.

Unfortunately for her, she is not a real crop and thus, has no actual power.

And how often do we see stories about protests in London? You can’t sing church songs but protesting is lawful? That makes no sense. Either they have the freedom of thought or they don’t, And they do (sort of). But they have enough freedom that anyone with a fraction of a brain knows that that wannabe cop is a total clown, at best.
