Ever since Brett Kavanaugh donned his robes and holstered his gavel, the left has been claiming the Supreme Court has lost its legitimacy. Well, those lefties just took things to a whole new level. Now, they're saying we might just wanna go ahead and abolish the Supreme Court altogether.

I kid you not.

When he was arguing for the ratification of the Constitution, Alexander Hamilton wrote that the judiciary “will always be the least dangerous branch to the political rights of the Constitution,” in part because he believed the federal courts would stand above the political fray and act as a bulwark against tyranny from all directions.

But it’s hard to defend the Supreme Court on these grounds today.

The Court is now a blunt political instrument, used repeatedly to undermine outcomes of democratic governance — often on behalf of corporate interests. And the recent disaster that was the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation has further delegitimized the Court in the public’s mind.

So it’s perfectly reasonable to ask if we should abolish the Supreme Court, or at the very least strip the Court of its ability to overturn laws that it rules unconstitutional.

Oh look, a bunch of whinetastic lefties trying to change the rules of the game after they lose.

Those same lefties have been using the Supreme Court to ram their policies through for years now. Suddenly, once there's a majority of non-lefty judges running the show, "things have just got to change. I mean, do we even like need a Supreme Court at all. Judicial review is just so 18th Century."

There's really no other way to slice this. Lefties are a squealing pack of sore losers. They're that kid who sweeps the chessboard when the game isn't going his way. Lefties aren't capable of winning fair and square, so they're trying to rig the government to be more in their favor. Yeah, that ain't gonna work.
