The internet is forever. If your friends posted a video of you to YouTube doing keg stands, your employer can probably find it. If you wrote some stupid tweet ten years ago, chances are it’s still out there somewhere. And if you’re a media outlet attempting to cover for present-day pedophile groomers in schools, you might want to remember the kinds of headlines you were writing only a few years ago.

God bless Christopher Rufo and his breed of internet sleuths who dig up all sorts of stuff. Yesterday, my man pointed out just how quickly the left has decided to pivot from warning the public of pedo teachers looking to take advantage of students to telling everyone the very idea is a right-wing conspiracy. The internet is forever WaPo, you should really remember this.

Rufo has screenshot two headlines from the Washington Post here, one from 2015 and the other from just last week. The first one says, “More teachers are having sex with their students. Here’s how schools can stop them.” The second one: “Teachers who mention sexuality are ‘grooming kids, conservatives say.”

Conservatives say? Shouldn’t we all be saying this? When did we stop worrying about teachers molesting their students? Is this where the left’s persistent push for “tolerance” has led us? We’re just supposed to tolerateteachers grooming children, now?

I don’t quite understand how any thinking person can believe this isn’t an issue. If it was an issue in 2015 it’s an issue today. It’s a larger issue today! Public schools openly advocate for much of the activities once categorized as grooming. But the liberal media would have everyone to the right of Chomsky believing they’re a bunch of tinfoil hat-wearing crazies.

We’re not the crazies. You’re the crazies. And I happen to believe my tinfoil hat is quite fetching, thank you very much.
