If you are going to point the finger at everyone else and claim corporations, with less than a 3% profit margin, are solely responsible for “price gouging,” the least Pocahontas can do is name one. But of course, she can’t do that because the claim that price gouging is responsible for inflation is nothing more than a leftist lie.
Just like Elizabeth Warren lied about being related to Pocahontas, she is lying about price gouging.
CNBC host Joe Kernen truly handed her some common sense that is not common among Democrats. Unfortunately, talking to Pocahontas is like speaking to a wall.

According to Fox News:
Harris unveiled her economic plans last week, including the proposed ban, which would give the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) the ability to investigate companies that increase their prices during periods of higher inflation.
AKA, price controls.
"Competition doesn’t come in," he said. "If the price of beef is too high, people don’t move the chicken. Competitors don’t come in to undercut where the beef prices are. Nothing works when you try to artificially control prices. It’s just a supply and demand issue. It’s a flawed idea."
"It’s not price gouging that’s the issue," he said, asking her when she was going to propose a policy that would "really help" the middle class.
The interview remained heated as Warren accused Kernen of not letting her speak and Kernen accused Warren of giving misleading examples and not accurately presenting how the market works.
Just when you thought Pocahontas couldn't get any more stupid, she succeeded, as she tried to blame the egg industry for the government’s mess.
"It’s just the way it is. And to think that the government can decide when prices are too high or too low — the grocery chains have a 2% profit margin. How about Apple with 50% or 40%? How do you decide?" he pressed the senator.
"This is not the government’s place to do these things. It’s a fool’s errand, and you're using it to divert from the real cause of inflation over the last four years," he said, blaming the pandemic's supply chain issues and stimulus spending.
To be fair, it’s unclear if she’s objectively naive or a liar, as she may know that the government’s spending spree created this mess, but she seems to blame Snickers instead.
For the party that claims to be all in it for the middle class, they have really done a great job destroying that.
The government is the sole reason prices have increased and it’s pathetic that they blame everyone but themselves, especially because they are creating the laws. Since 2021, prices have increased 20 percent.
According to the Heritage Foundation:
Had producers or retailers been price gouging (that is, increasing prices more than inflation justified), the rate of inflation for consumers would have exceeded that for producers. It did not.
In fact, consumer price increases have only recently caught up with the price increases businesses faced. For most of the last three and half years, cumulative inflation for businesses has been higher than cumulative inflation for families. In other words, businesses were increasing consumer prices more slowly than inflation was increasing their costs.
Either businesses were unable to keep pace with rapidly surging inflation, or they were protecting consumers from the intensity of the Biden-Harris inflationary surge—or both. Either way, businesses clearly weren’t price gouging.
The government is spending money like crazy and increasing the money supply, which directly impacts inflation. And the fact that Pocahontas wants to pretend that price gouging is a thing, is pathetic and a blatant disrespect to Americans everywhere.
The real price gougers are the government and it’s time the people control how much they spend.
