The only problem with the climate cult is that none of it is rooted in science, as proven by the fact that these people think charging per livestock fart will do much of anything to control the direction of the wind.

State Democrats in Washington are proposing a tax on cow farts, which will do nothing but close down more farms and increase the price of beef.

According to The Post Millennial:

House Bill 1630 would require feedlots and dairy farms to report the annual metric tons of methane emitted by cows in the preceding calendar year. If the methane exceeds CO2 limits, those facilities could become regulated under the state’s controversial Climate Commitment Act, the same law that spiked gas prices in Washington state.

In other words, so long as every aspect of your life becomes more expensive, then maybe, just maybe, the Democrats can control the amount of rain next season. You know, because of “science” or whatever.

Colfax Republican Representative Joe Schmick called the bill an unreasonable attack on agriculture and told Washington House Republican Radio, “If they find that there was sufficient methane equivalent to 25,000 metric tons of CO2 emissions, these facilities would likely come under the Climate Commitment Act as covered entities.” Schmick added, “You’re asking the growers to pay more taxes, more regulation, in a time when you have record low commodity prices and their costs are astronomical right now. It’s just wrong!”

It’s wrong on many levels, as your very existence will soon be too expensive to fund. Subsequently, things like meat will only be something the ultra-rich will be able to consume if these lunatics are to have their way.

The Washington Farm Bureau told Fox 13 that the Climate Commitment Act, passed by the Democratic-controlled legislature in 2021, disproportionately impacts small farms. Democratic lawmakers falsely claim they exempted farmers from the extra costs, but the complicated system was not streamlined as promised, and farmers are being incorrectly charged.

Why does it seem like every time the Democrats impose a law to save the world, the little guy is harmed the most? Because in the left’s pathetic attempt to control the direction of the wind, they have made everyone worse off except the very corporations they pretend to despise.

Isn't it ironic how these same people claim to want to tax the rich when their policies end up hurting the little guy the most? And because everything they stand for does just that, they now vow to tax small businesses into oblivion for natural, bodily functions. And if that is not a better representation of the climate cult nothing is.
