It's rare when something happens in politics that is truly surprising. You'd think Joe Biden, after all the drama, would know to keep his hands to himself. Yet... well, just watch the video.

Though you have to admire his stones. Telling his critics he doesn't give a rip what they think, he's going to handle the young chicas. Because guess what, a fondler though he may be, he's still the least crazy of the 217 Democrats running for president. If he gets a little gropey here and there, so what? Who else will people vote for? Kirsten Gillibrand?

Though if I were advising the former vice president, I'd point out that he's not running against Republicans this time. Running against Republicans, the press lets you get away with murder. Literally ::cough:: Ted Kennedy ::cough.

But Biden is running against Democrats. And a Democrat base who already hates his race, gender, and sexual orientation. They're not going to let him get away with groping 12-year-olds anymore. If it were Cory Booker... maybe.
