Even though Mario Lopez and Candace Owens had this discussion a few news cycles ago, media and the left (same thing) decided to blow up about it today. Ergo we need to run defense for Mario, who is 100 percent right. He and Candace discussed the new celebrity trend, championed by people like Charlize Theron, to raise their young children transgender. Both Candace Owens and Mario Lopez agreed that notion is dangerous for children.

"My God if you're three-years-old, I just think it's dangerous as a parent to make this determination then, it's sort of alarming and my gosh, I just think about the repercussions later on."

The repercussions being a chemically mutilated -- if not physically mutilated -- body which will forever be damaged due to a parent not parenting their young child.

"I think parents need to allow their kids to be kids, but at the same time, you got to be the adult in the situation."

Parents usually have decades worth of life experience over their young children. Adults remember what it was like to be children, then teenagers, young adults, and adults. We understand the phases of life far beyond "I want a cookie" or "Look, mommy, I'm a dinosaur." It's up to parents to allow their children to be children but to also understand kids say some of the silliest things which mean NOTHING beyond what they're saying at the moment. As Owens and Lopez discussed.

Yet Lopez is being dragged for his comments made on Owens' show, which he made a month ago.

Fortunately, people are also running to Lopez's defense:

Mario Lopez is right. It is dangerous to go with the whims of babes. That's why children have parents and aren't allowed to make decisions about anything when they're that young. They don't know better. "Don't touch the oven, it's hot. Brush your teeth. Wash your hands after you pee. Stop choking your sister." It's a magical time.

Parents who allow their small children to make such huge decisions which impact them for the rest of their lives aren't really good parents at all. We've argued here, they're actually child abusers.
